After you’ve downloaded the app on to your iOS device, launch it and go through the introduction process. The app has 5 tabs at the bottom that can be used to check out the popular images, latest images, create images, check your album and edit the Settings.

Create Animated GIF from Video

Select the capture button and record a short video, preferably 2-3 seconds, using the front or rear camera. It’s best if you record something that’s in motion or something around the subject is in motion.

Edit the video if you want, adjusting the length and hit Save. Now, draw the area on the video that you want to animate. Tap the screen once and start drawing. Make sure you draw only the area that you want to be animated! You can even pinch to zoom in to that area to make it easier.

You can choose from one of the 4 filters for the image, try them and apply them to make the result look much better. That’s it! That’s how you create animated GIF with the help of the amazing Cinemagram app. You can then give it a title and share it on the app itself or on Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter.
