digg logoAround a week ago, Digg launched what it calls a DiggBar. The DiggBar enables you to Digg, read comments, find related content, and share stuff from any page on the Web. And it’s presented in a short URL format, making it easy to share in emails, on Twitter, and via other services. In addition to finding it on all outbound links from Digg, you can generate the DiggBar using any of the following solutions.

To get more info about the DiggBar click here.

Phil Nelson has come out with a Worpress plugin  : DiggBarred with which the user can block the DiggBar and customize the message displayed along with the styling of the DIV element that contains the message.

Installation is simple enough  :

  1. Upload the diggbarred folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. That’s it!

Download DiggBarred
