Microsoft, when they launched their latest OS – Vista had planned to shelf the earlier XP from sales on June, 2008. However, Steve Balmer, CEO – Microsoft clarified, that XP sales could continue, if customers intended on using them.
Earlier Microsoft had set a deadline to remove Windows XP from its umbrella of products from retail sales around June 30. This was in wake of high vista figures.
So all XP supporters may rejoice, as of now that is….
