EvernoteI’ve talked about Twitter on various occasions :

Today, its about a note taking service called Evernote. Evernote is an online web application which allows you to take notes almost instantly, you can tag pictures, videos, make an instant To-Do list and a lot more. I just discovered what I was missing without Evernote only after I started using it a month back.

You can snip articles , selections when online. Bookmark stuff for future reference or just use it to read things in your free time.

You can categorize your notes into various categories called Notebooks and synchronize them to your online account with touch of a button.

Evernote can be accessed from any computer with an active net connection.

Now what makes Evernoteamazing is the fact that you can send noted via Twitter. Its as simple as sending a tweet. Thanks to the Evernote-Twitter integration, you can easily capture the tweets you like: your own or those showing up in your stream. Plus, as an added bonus, you can now send yourself a quick note right from Twitter –no need to do any of that pesky app switching. Here’s how…

All you have to do is :

  1. Follow myEN on Twitter (you will need a Twitter account)
  2. myEN will follow you back, and send you a DM with a link
  3. Click the link, sign into Evernote, and connect your Evernote and Twitter accounts

A popular way to embed photos into Twitter messages is with Twitpic. If a tweet that you send to Evernote contains a Twitpic URL, a thumbnail of the photo will show up in Evernote along with a link to the original image. Nice.
