Saving SHSH blobs is really very important whenever you upgrade to a new firmware. By saving the older versions SHSH blobs, you always have a choice of going back to the older firmware in case the new firmware’s don’t work good on your jailbroken iOS device.

Recently after Apple released iOS 4.3.3 to fix the location tracking issue, the iPhone dev team also pushed out the latest versions of PwnageTool, RedsnOw and others for successfully jailbreaking devices running on iOS 4.3.3. Even the Verizon iPhone 4 got a firmware update to 4.2.8, and softwares were updated to jailbreak that too.
