Spice PopKorn M-9000: The Projector Phone

Spice Mobile has graciously provided us with some really good mobile phones for great prices, and the best part is that they try to get the latest possible technology onto their products. Spice recently launched the PopKorn, which happens to have an inbuilt projector for your big-screen viewing pleasures.

The Spice M-9000, otherwise known as PopKorn is not the first phone to come out with an inbuilt projector, but this one is quite cheap for a phone with such capabilities. If you’re looking for a cheap projector phone that you can use on your official trips and to show-off, then this is built specially for you. The phone doesn’t have a touchscreen and the inbuilt projector means that it’ll be quite big and even hefty. And like all projector phones out there, the battery life will certainly be bad, but that’s a sacrifice you’ll have to make if you want to use the projector.

Here are the specifications of the Spice PopKorn M-9000:

  • 2.4 inch Color QVGA Display with 320 x 240 resolution
  • 3.2 megapixel camera with 15FPS video recording
  • 87MB inbuilt storage expandable up to 16GB via microSD
  • Inbuilt Projector
  • Analog TV, GPRS, EDGE, Stereo Bluetooth
  • Document Viewer and Laser Pointer
  • Dual GSM SIM

To know what more the phone features, visit the official website of Spice. The M-9000 PopKorn is priced at around Rs. 6600, but is available for about Rs. 6000 at mobile stores online.

Would you buy this phone? Have you ever used a Projector phone, if so then do tell us about the experience.
