SMRecorder : Record Video from WebCam or Your Desktop

There are many softwares out there which will let you capture videos of your desktop, or capture video from your webcam. Personally, I use camtasia which is one of the best paid solution out there, but at the same time there are many free softwares which will let you record Webcam or your desktop screen.  Usually recording a screencast and recording video from your webcam requires separate programs. But what if there was a program that would let you perform both functions? Surely it would be very convenient.

The setup file of the program is sized at nearly 5.5MB and it installs without any complications. When you run the program this is how it looks like. To start your video recording, click on the first button to the left.


Clicking on this buttons pops up a window where you specify the source of video and audio that will be in the resultant recording. You can specify the video source as a portion of the desktop or a connected webcam.
