Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been tagged as the world’s slimmest tablet, being just 88.6 mm thick and weighs around 595 grams, this new tablet would form a nice buy for people who love portability. The tablet has been redesigned, the earlier version was around 10.9mm thick and weighed 599 g.

This Samsung Galaxy Tab runs on Android 3.0 and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor. The tablet will be available in two versions 16GB and 32GB respectively. It also features a 2 megapixel front camera and a 8 GB imager at back. It sports a a 10.1-inch display with 1280×800 resolution, 4G connectivity (HSPA+ 21 Mbps now and LTE/WiMAX in the future)  and a 6800 mAh battery.

Besides being run on Android, it also features mini application tray, sound station dock, an HDMI charging dock, a social hub, USB connection kit etc.

It appears that Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available in the market from June, 2011 and will be prized at around $499 for the 16 GB version and around 599$ for the 32 Gb version.

Well, this killer tablet has been given tagged as the iPad Killer!

Surely be a success. It has a great camera and comes with a price close to that of iPad 2!
