The device was very much expected from Samsung as reports popped up around the web in February about a possible availability of an android phone with picture and video projection capabilities in Q3 this year. The major highlight of this android projector phone apart from the 3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display is great connectivity options like 7.2Mbps HSPA data on 900/1900/2100MHz and quad-band GSM/EDGE and quad-band GSM/EDGE, Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11n WiFi.

The phone will run on Google android 2.1 when bought and can be updated to higher versions later. The other noteworthy feature of this device is the 8 megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and HD video recording.

The battery life is good enough to play full length movies on the projector, thanks to its 1,800mAH battery. Phone buyers will have 4 memory storage options to buy from which includes 4Gb, 2Gb, 1Gb or 16Gb.

The projector phone is destined to hit Singapore this July and should be in select European and Asian markets in a quick time thereafter.
