Reverse DNS Lookup made easy

First thing first, What is Reverse DNS?

  1. Its a fancy name
  2. Looks up what host and domain resolve to a given IP address
  3. Sounds uber cool
  4. The original use is network troubleshooting using tracert and ping
  5. Is Geeky
  6. System monitoring tools often receive entries with the relevant devices specified only by IP addresses.

So, for all those who’ve used either tracert and ping the term would sound interesting if not familiar. Its actually a way of knowing what domains are hosted on a single server using the server’s IP address. Could be extremely useful to research your competitors, find out who is on hosted your webhosting server as well or have some fun finding new websites.

Head to GuerrillaDNS.com and set the ball rolling.
