This is not something that we would usually write about, but it’s important that people get to watch the Royal Wedding of Prince Williams and Catherine (Kate) Middleton. The Prince of Britain, the United Kingdom is finally getting married and that’s really a very big occasion. I’ve been told by my friend that the whole of London is eagerly waiting and preparing for the Royal Wedding to take place later today, Friday 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey.

The Royal Wedding Broadcast

On the other hand, it’ll still be a normal day for me, except for people trying to get to their television sets or computers and watch the whole thing live as it takes place. Hence, I’ll be telling you how to watch Royal Wedding online.

The Royal Wedding

The preparations for the Royal wedding are almost done, and the whole thing will be streamed online on a certain YouTube channel so that everyone can watch it and get wedding ideas.

Okay, so my friend who’s in London, gave me some information on the preparation, seems like there is quite a long list of things that each of the guests are required to perform. It’s as if the whole wedding has been perfected for a spectacular performance, more like a rehearsed show.

That’s however not the point here, of what and how the guests invited are supposed to behave and drink tea. The point here is, how to watch the Royal Wedding online. So, getting to the point, the whole wedding will be streamed live on YouTube’s Royal Channel.

That’s all you need to remember if you’re planning to watch the Royal Wedding Online. Just tune in to the YouTube channel at around 15:30 in the evening for the show to begin.

And beforehand, Congratulations to Prince William and Catherine Middleton from the ShoutMeLoud and CallingAllGeeks Team.

Gaming laptops aren’t something that people would normally pick up like they select normal laptops. You have to keep many things in mind, such as the display size, battery backup, heat issues, price, warranty, build and lots and lots more. The reason being, gaming laptops are pricey, like real pricey. Take for example the Alienware series of gaming laptops, you can use the same money for the laptop and buy yourself an used car.

Samsung RF712 3D Gaming Laptop

Samsung recently announced their new gaming laptop, the RF712, which is a 17-inch 3D powerhouse for high-end gaming and entertainment. The name given to this laptop sounds similar to that of a fighter jet.  The best thing about this laptop is it’s 3D Display, which renders all the latest 3D movies in near perfect quality. Of course, these aren’t glasses free 3D, so you will need to use the Active glasses that Samsung provides with the laptop. You can connect up to 4 glasses via Bluetooth and watch those 3D movies along with your friends. The design is stunning too, with a metal finish for keyboard surface and a overall sturdy body the RF712 looks like it means business.

The only thing that is bad, or well heavy with this laptop is the weight and its mere size. The Samsung RF712 is not portable!!

The Samsung RF712 is crazy, heavily packed with latest Intel processor and ATI Radeon graphics, DDR3 RAM, 3D Display and much more. Below are the complete specifications for the RF712:

  • A 17 inch Full HD 3D Display with 400cdm brightness
  • Intel Second Generation Quad Core Processor
  • 2GB of AMD HD6650M Graphics
  • 750GB hard drive and an additional HDD drive for expansion up to 1.5 TB
  • USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and much more.

Watch the complete hands-on review of the Samsung RF712 after the break to understand all the features.

The Samsung RF712 has already been launched in South Korea, and will soon be available in other countries for a hefty price tag of $2,500. We will update you as soon as this Laptop is available in other countries, I bet gamers would love to own this.

What do you think of the RF712? Will it be an Alienware alternative?

HTML5 have really revamped the markup language as it use to be, with the addition of new tags and multimedia capabilities the web development have surely taken a big step forward with the aid of HTML5.

Users in the past have always relied on flash games for browser-based entertainment but with the inclusion of powerful HTML5 in the web domain, application and games on the web are now more exciting and useful.

I have compiled a list of three impressive HTML5 games that you can play on any internet browser having a built-in support for HTML5, these browsers are FireFox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 9. So here is a brief review of these exciting and fun-filled HTML5 games:

This particular game transforms your entire browser window into a monochrome world with very smooth animations and responsive controls. Using keyboard and a mouse you have to navigate through a screen before proceeding to the next level. You have to navigate your character through mazes and puzzles experiencing all the HTML5 brilliance. VII is no doubt graphically pleasing and with a wisp of technical goodness and the best part is that you can download it for free.

Sand Trap

Sand Trap - Put It in the Pail

Although most of the browser games take advantage of various physics engines available for both Java and Flash, but Sand Trap employs its very own built-in HTML5-based module. Each level in the game contains a maze and all of them are filled with a little bit of sand. You have to rotate the maze so that you can syphon the sand into a container place underneath the maze.

It is a very addictive and in some instance a complex game, and I think this game is primarily for physics gaming lovers. Moreover, if you happen to own a tablet then this game would become more interesting with inclusion of touch interface.

Canvas Rider

Canvas Rider-main-interface

Based on the classic gaming title Line Rider, the game allow users to create custom tracks by using drawing tools and later on ride and share them. As a motorbike rider you have to reach the end of the level that is a pretty easy task. With a careful use of lean controls and throttle you can help the rider to maintain position on the bike through the entire level. Google Chrome users can install an extension in-order to access the Canvas Rider game instantly.

The Walkman series from Sony Ericsson is a brand enjoyed by many users all over the world. The sound clarity and the music features on any of the Walkman phones from Sony Ericsson has always been their pride. Now however, it’s been quite a long time since they have introduced any Walkman phones, nobody knows why. Maybe they were busy with the Xperia series of phones or maybe they were developing a new feel and look for their Walkman series.

Sany Ericsson W8

It turns out that they were developing and working on bringing a new walkman series phone, this time with the latest features. Sony Ericsson has launched their first Walkman Android phone, the W8, which runs on the Android operating system. The phone has a very stylish design probably taken from the older Xperia line-up and finally gets a touchscreen.

Official Specifications of the Sony Ericsson W8, Walkman Android phone:

  • A 3 inch Capacitive Touchscreen HVGA Display
  • Android 2.1 Eclair with Timescape User Interface
  • 128 MB of internal storage expandable up to 16GB via microSD slot
  • 600MHz process with 168MB of RAM
  • 3.2 megapixel camera, video recording and geo-tagging
  • Bluetooth 2.1 A2DP, micro USB, a 3.5mm jack, accelerometer, light sensor and more

According to me, this phone is a feature phone and cannot be categorized as a Smartphone, but I’m pretty confident that this phone will do pretty well when it comes to music quality and playback. I used to love the Mega Bass equalizer present on my Walkman series W800i and also the packaged headphones. The W8 Walkman Android phone also has all those features!

The Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman Android phone will be available from Q2 of 2011 and is most likely to be available first in countries like India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines etc and in colors Azure Blue, Walkman Orange and Metallic Red. We have no word on the pricing yet, but it won’t cost you north of INR 10000 for sure.
