YouTube is one of the most popular website on the internet right now. You can simply watch anything you want like songs, video lectures, educational videos and much more. When you are listening to any song, one major problem majority of users face whose mother tongue is not English or the language in which the song is sung, is to understand what the guy is singing. There is no doubt that if we watch the video multiple times, we get the lyrics of the song. To solve this problem, you should give Music Video Lyrics for YouTube extension for Google Chrome.

One of the most used feature of Facebook is poking. Any of your friend can Poke you or even a stranger can poke you depending upon your Privacy settings. And if you have tons of friends (maximum limit: 5000) and they in habit of poking you, you might find it troublesome to poke every individual manually. How about using some script or addon which will auto poke your friends for you.

Here I’m sharing about a Chrome extension call Poke all for Chrome which does what it says. This addon will auto poke all your Facebook friends with one single click. Using this chrome addon is very simple. All you need to do is install this addon on your Chrome browser <Link>. Once installed click on Facebook icon on the extension bar of Chrome and Enable auto poke by checking the check box. This will Auto poke everyone when ever you open Facebook.com or Else you can use manual Auto poke all feature.

Now head over to your Facebook homepage and under Pokes you will see an option to Auto poke everyone. See the screenshot for better understanding. Click on Auto Poke and it will start poking everyone who have poked you.

Gesture based controls is surely turning out to be the next big thing in smartphone OS platforms including Android and iPhone. For iPad and iPhone owners gesture control will surely become an essential ingredient because it provides a greater degree of ease of access.

Web browsing on iOS devices is all about being fast and quick saving maximum of time, so if we add gesture controls while surfing internet on Safari then it surely is an ideal thing. The extension that I am reviewing in this post is Sleipnizer for Safari and is designed solely to make web browsing for Jailbreak iDevices faster and quicker.

What Sleipnizer does?

Basically Sleipnizer allow users to tag 4 basic gestures to number of actions. You will find ample of built-in actions but when it come to gestures you will immediately notice that they are a bit less and could have been more.

sleipnizer actions

The available gestures include Down Right and left swipe, Upper right and left swipe and the actions corresponding to these gestures include things like closing a tab or opening it and refreshing or reloading a page.

What I like the most about Sleipnizer is a feature called as OpenTabBG, this particular feature reduces the number of usual steps that are required to open a tab in a separate window. Just hold the link and a corresponding link will automatically open in a new tab in the backdrop. You can simply Turn OFF this feature if you don’t like it at all.

Sleipnizer for iOS

You can install Sleipnizer for Safari from the insanelyi repo for free of cost.

Yet another leak. This time the leak surrounds Motorola mobility which makes maybe the first leak since Google ownership of Motorola Mobility. The information and pictures you will get from this post are 90% true but are subject to change because nobody know what these companies can do to their phones. This phone was leaked around 3 days ago. It was leaked on Engadget at first and then it spread over the internet. Motorola Droid HD seems to be totally real and may launch actually how it is rumored. The specifications are good enough to make this high-end phone better. They are given below.

  • It will come with a capacitive touchscreen.
  • The size of the display screen is 4.5 inches with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
  • It will come with an internal memory of 1 GB which would be expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card.
  • GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0 would be available in the “Connectivity” section.
  • It will have a 8 megapixels rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch-focus, face detection and image stabilization. Video recording is available at 1080p and secondary front facing camera is also available.
  • It will run on Android v2.3(Gingerbread).
  • 1 GHz dual-core processor, TI OMAP4430 chipset would be available in this phone.

This leak is yet another delight to the technology world and the photos were more proof to the techies which didn’t consider it as the actual phone. Many people have claimed that this is the actual phone and no change would be seen in the design of the actual phone but who knows.

Whatever it will be, I am just hoping to see Motorola announcing it because that would be a delight to many people who wanted to see the successor of Motorola Droid and the HD version of it. Will Motorola actually announce this phone or the news will bust in the air… who knows!

Nokia has been talking about the Symbian Anna update for the Symbian ^3 devices from a long time. Finally, Nokia is rolling out the Symbian Anna firmware for all compatible devices. The list of devices that can be upgraded to the latest firmware include the N8, E7, C6-00 and C7.

If you happen to own one of these Nokia devices, then you’d want to get this software update and enjoy Anna. It’s best to upgrade it using the PC, since that’s the most reliable and safest method if you like to not have a bricked phone.

Ilari Nurmi, Vice President at Nokia stated;

Nokia’s Symbian smartphones are used by millions of people around the world every day, addressing specific consumer needs and providing choices at many price points. Symbian Anna represents a significant update to the experience those users have and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to Symbian, which will see up to 10 more phones introduced over the next 12 months, further updates to the user experience and support for the software until at least 2016.

What new will you experience in Symbian Anna? Well, firstly, there’s the all new user interface and the homescreen customization options. Then there’s the new on-screen portrait QWERTY keyboard, split-screen messaging screen and much much more. There are new icons and wallpapers, a better and faster web browser with new features. New version of Ovi Maps, Ovi Store and Quick Office also come pre-installed with Symbian Anna. Some performance tweaks are also included in this new OS, which should make your Nokia device even better and easier to use.

As I said earlier, there are two ways to upgrade your Nokia phone to Symbian Anna, also remember that only the devices mentioned earlier in this post can be upgraded. If you do not have any of those, then you should best forget about it.

To install Symbian Anna via PC, you’ll require the Nokia PC Suite that came along with your phone, a fast internet connection and some free time. Remember to backup your contacts, photos, music, videos and other data before you even think of upgrading the firmware. All that can be done with the help of the PC Suite.

Or if you want to go the easier way, and install it using only your phone, then do the following:

  • Head over to Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone Updates.
  • Then select the update you want to install, most likely the latest Symbian Anna.
  • Follow the given instructions to download and install.
  • Make sure you have a good Wi-Fi connection.

That’s pretty much it. Enjoy the new user experience on Symbian Anna.
