A selection of photographs taken with recently unveiled Nokia E6-00 as part of an internal Nokia competition during the testing of the new mobile device. This phone is slated to be the successor for the popular E72.
The new smartphone from Nokia will be equipped with an 8 MP Fixed Focus EDOF Camera with Dual-LED flash. It will be capable of shooting hi-definition videos at 720p (1280×720 pixels) with video recording at a decent 25fps. Additional features include geo-tagging and face detection.
We quite like these images as it shows how well the EDOF Camera is performing in the prototype handset. EDOF cameras initially weren’t well received by the consumers at large and had received criticism for taking average photographs since the launch of the Nokia C7.
If your phone has a EDOF camera it might be unable to shoot macro images making it just good enough for a quick shot and normal photos. While it has been to known to take good videos but the general consensus is that its nowhere close to meeting the needs of a photography enthusiast.
See the hi-res images and decide for yourself if you like them or not and if the new camera on the E6 is better than its predecessors.
