iUsers: Create New User Profiles on iPad

This has to be a really useful application for any iOS user. The ability to create new user profiles on an iPad is intriguing. We are used to creating new user profiles on our Windows PC and Macs, which comes in very handy when you have personal documents that you don’t want others to see. Creating user profiles lets your keep your stuff in your own domain on your computer and now you can get the same experience on your iPad.

iUsers for iOS devices is a cydia application that lets you do the same thing. You can create new Users on your iPad and lock them with a Lock code. Privacy for you, so that others don’t stumble upon things on your iPad. If you’re sharing one iPad with more than one person then it’s pretty obvious that this will be a very useful jailbreak app. As tablets are becoming more and more like computers, new applications are developed every day to keep them just as useful.

This app provides the same functionality and lets you choose between different users at the Slide to unlock screen. Once the app is installed a new icon will appear next to the Slide to Unlock screen. When you select the iUsers icon, a new pop-up appears asking you to Select a User to Login. However, every time you select a different user, the device will reboot to login into the selected User. You can add new users from the Settings tab and the best part is that you can add any number of users, not that it would be necessary. Check out the video after the break to see how it works:
