Using a web browser such as Mozilla Firefox in full screen mode is quite commonplace these days. Usually this is achieved by pressing the F11 key on the keyboard and once in the full screen mode, the address bar and the status bar auto hide giving more screen space. One has to hover the mouse on the top and bottom area of the screen to see the hidden address and status bars respectively.
Some users don’t like the idea that the auto-hiding of toolbar takes place while in full screen mode so this guide will tell you how to disable the auto-hide of toolbars in full screen mode:
Step 1: Launch Firefox and in the address bar (where you enter website URLs) write about:config and press Enter.
Click on the I’ll be careful, I promise! button to proceed.
Type animate in the Filter box and look for following integer key:
Step 4: The entry would be set to value True by default. Double click the entry to set it to False.
Step 1: Launch the Firefox browser and press F11 to enter into full screen mode.
Step 2: Move the cursor on top of screen to bring back the toolbars.
Step 3: Right-click on the navigation toolbar and uncheck Hide Toolbars option.
I hope this tutorial will be handy for Firefox users who are trying to hide toolbar.
