Guide to Buy Cellphones Online, Top 5 Indian Mobile e-Stores Reviewed

Have you been wondering if you could purchase cellphones online in India? Is shopping online safe and what websites could you rely upon. This post will answer all such questions and more like where to get best prices from. Other than that we keep sharing deals of the week with you regularly.

Why buy a Cellphone Online?

This is the first question that most people ask. There are several advantages here. Firstly, you order your favorite gadget online from the comfort of your home. You don’t have to travel the market looking for cellphone models and good deals. You get to browse through phones of all brands and all segments right on one page. Be it a power-packed Smart Phone or a Dual-Sim phone. You can get them all.

Secondly, you don’t spend a lot of time and energy bargaining with the dealer. I have ordered two phones online in the last month and trust me the deals you get online can never be matched by your local dealer. Moreover, these days most of the portals offer you free-shipping via premium courier services so you don’t waste a dime on shipping either.

What should I look for in an online Store?

We’ll be shortly discussing the five most popular and trustworthy stores in India where you could make online purchases from. But before that let’s look at the common features you should look out for as a customer.

  • Free Shipping

This feature is offered by most sellers these days. So, make sure your seller offers this. This way you don’t pay anything other than the price of the phone. Some might even provide you free transit insurance.

  • Payment Options

You may use a credit card(real or virtual) or netbanking for making purchases online. In some cases you might have other options such as Debit Cards and Cheque/DD, Cash Cards etc. You must check this up with the reseller if your mode of payment is acceptable for them.

Now let’s show you some places you could go and check out cellphone deals, online.

Flipkart.com

Cons:

  • No Sort by Price Feature on Website. This is a must have for any ecommerce portal.

Our Rating: 4 out of 5

They should work more on the portal design and usability. They have some great deals there and Flipkart already is our favorite among the lot here in the current state.

You can add Sangeetha mobiles as well.

Sangeetha and Univercell will give the best possible price. I don’t think you will get it cheaper anywhere else.
