A recent hack by iPhoneislam allows you to add FaceTime capabilities to your iPhone 3GS. This guide will tell you how to enable FaceTime on iPhone 3GS. Please note that you need to have a jailbroken iPhone to proceed.
Well, FaceTime works best with front camera. Since the iPhone 3GS does not have front camera you can only make use of rear camera. At least, you can see your other friends video and also show him what’s around you.

You may use either of Greenpois0n, PwnageTool or Limera1n to jailbreak.
Once you have a jailbroken iPhone proceed with following steps to enable FaceTime.
Launch Cydia from iPhone Springboard.
Tap on Manage tab at the bottom and then select Sources. You need to add the iPhoneislam Repo. Here’s how. First click on Edit and then on the Add button.
Enter http://apps.iphoneislam.com and press Add Source button.
Click on Return to Cydia once repo has been added and tap Done.
Now select iPhoneIslam from list of sources and tap on FaceIt-3GS from the list of Cydia Packages.
Press Install and then Confirm to start download.
Press on reboot when you are prompted to, after installation.
When your iPhone has rebooted select Settings > Phone > FaceTime > On
The iPhone will send out an SMS and FaceTime will activate itself.
Now you will be able to make FaceTime calls to iPhone 4 users and also those with iPod Touch 4G or Mac.

i m using i phne 4 but not able to use facetime..all time when i try calling using facetime at another i phne 4 the face time doesnt wrk kindly help me out..??
