GTA 3 for iOS and Android Releases December 15

As a part of its 10 year Anniversary celebration, Rockstar Games epic hit Grand Theft Auto 3, is being launched for iOS and Android devices on December 15. Yes, you heard that right! One of the most played and insanely famous games of all time, Grand Theft Auto, is making it’s official debut on smartphone and tablet devices later this month.

However, not all Android users are going to be lucky here and neither the ones who’re still sporting an iPhone 3GS or 3G. Rockstar games has given out a list of devices on which this game is supported, so make sure you check out that list before you start dancing on your bed. Also, the game is being called, Grand Theft Auto 3: Anniversary Edition and will cost you $4.99 for both iOS and Android. They will be available for download on the App Store and the Android Market starting December 15.

I know you’re wondering if you’ll be able have the same experience you had on the computer back then and I assure you that you will. This game is not some altered and cut down version of the original game, but has the same story line and is just as long. Below is the list of iOS and Android devices that are compatible with this game:

Apple iOS Devices: iPad 1 & 2, iPhone 4 & 4S, iPod Touch 4G
Android Phones: HTC Rezound, LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, T-Mobile G2x
Android Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Toshiba Thrive
