If you are a Facebook user, you must have noticed a message on Facebook stating its U-turn on their terms of use policy.Earlier this month the social networking site updated its policy to extend control over content uploaded by users even after they had deleted their account.
“Anything you upload to Facebook can be used by Facebook in any way they deem fit, forever, no matter what you do later”.
Now the site has backed down, reverting to a previous version of its policy without the controversial change.
“Over the past couple of days, we received a lot of questions and comments about the changes and what they mean for people and their information, based on this feedback, we have decided to return to our previous terms of use while we resolve the issues that people have raised.” said founder Mark Zuckerberg in an official blog post.
