Creating iPhone ringtones could not any easier. No more downloading premium applications. Since, there is no application download involved this guide will work both for Mac and Windows Users just as well. Just point your computer’s browser to Audiko and follow these steps.

You can choose among three sources for your ringtone song:

Upload a local track on your computer
Point to any song hosted online
Point to a YouTube Video

Step One:

I choose to go ahead with a file hosted online. I pasted the link for the song “Don’t Give it Away” and clicked on Upload as you can see in the screenshot.

Step Two:

Once the uploading is done a floating tool appears over the song’s timeline. The maximum allowed duration of a ringtone is 30 seconds so drag the slider to your favourite part of the song and select Fade-In and Fade-Out for better effects.

Step Three:

Once you’re satisfied with the results click on Create Ringtone. A download link will appear next. Click on it and save the file to your computer.

Step Four:

Drag the file you just saved into iTunes and it will appear under the Ringtones view.

Step Five:

Connect your iPhone and go to the Ringtones tab and select all or the specific ringtone you want. In this case, I just selected one ringtone. Click on Sync.

Step Six:

Once the Sync is over and the ringtone has been copied you are ready to Use it on your iPhone.

Go to Settings > Sounds > Ringtone

Here you should be able to see the ringtone you just created under Custom group.
