The world is crazy about latest iPhone 4. Oatmeal blog demonstrated the Apple madness through the interactive comics. After releasing the iPhone, few Apple fans are not happy, not because flaws in the set, but due to the color of the phone.
iPhone 4 only released in black color and according to Apple the fans are required to wait for the end of this month for the white color. However, if you can’t wait for it then there is a service provider which is offering a white iPhone deal.
The site known as WhiteiPhone4now is selling a DIY kit to convert your black iPhone 4 into a white.
The kit comes at $229 price and it includes the following objects:
- 1 x iPhone 4 Retina Display
- 1 x White iPhone 4 Front Panel
- 1 x White iPhone 4 Back Cover
- 1 x White iPhone 4 Home Button
- 1 x White iPhone 4 Digitizer (enables touch function)
- 1 x White iPhone 4 Front Panel Support Frame
The shipping charge is included in the kit price. There is a nice iFixit guide to disassemble your iPhone 4. The whole process is more than 30 steps long and it requires a practice to open the electronic device.
If you can’t do the disassembling and reassembling yourself then there is another online service, BrokeMyiPhone.com, which performs all the steps for you and it will charge extra $54 for that.
It is not clear by the site that the parts offering by them is an original Apple part painted by white color or the part has manufactured by the persons behind the site.
Note: If you desperately want white iPhone and never wait for a month to release it then you can use this service at your own risk. According to the site “All Orders Ships July 8th*”.
